Audit Intern (Summer 2023)

VWC, a local CPA firm is seeking a full-time Audit Intern to join our Audit team this summer.
For more than 40 years, VWC-CPA has had our heads down, working hard, helping our clients to succeed—however they define that. We’re people, helping people improve their businesses, their family circumstances, their lives. We want to make a difference that you’ll notice somewhere other than a spreadsheet. We’re advisors, sounding boards, like that one really sharp friend of yours. When other accountants are mentally clocking billable time, we’re grabbing a coffee to settle in and listen.
Accounting majors are preferred, although other majors will be considered. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who would enjoy developing relationships with a large network of professionals from diverse industries, and want to be part of a fun, collaborative work environment. While we are flexible around academic and extracurricular schedules, we expect interns to work as close to 40 hours a week as possible. VWC interns are truly essential to the success of our business, and we seek to hire them as full-time employees after graduation.
The wage range for this position is $30-$35 per hour.
